To develop the India right from the root, the Co-operative base is needed which will make the profit to pass to the root level people and each and every Indian should flourished, so the efforts are taken to pass all the incentives/schemes to each and every home of rural area, so that the very motto of uplifting the rural India will be achieved.
With the same views when Hon. Vinay Kore Saheb was Minister for Non Conventional Energy took initiative to develop the small Hydro Project on BOT, to overcome the power scarcity.
With the same aim and objective the Shree Tatyasaheb Kore Warana Sahakari Navshakti Nirman Sanstha Ltd., Warananagar (Warana Power Co-operative) was formed, it took up 6 SHP to generate 10.6 MW. The reason to enter into small Hydro Project with low capacity was the Social-Economical and infrastructure development in rural area and makes every Common Indian to be the part of Growth Story.

Well-known economist has said ‘resources in India are either unutilized or underutilized’, For optimum utilization of natural & other types of resources human attitude need to be changed. “Have to work” approach consumes more time than the “actual work completion time”. Without waiting for situational change, one should immediately start working with the available resources. Warana Cogeneration Project (44MW Capacity)
44 MW capacity bagasse based cogeneration power plant at Shree Tatyasaheb Kore Warana Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. Warananagar (Warana Sugar Co-Operative Sugar Industries), Taluka: PanhaIa, Dist. Kolhapur has been prepared for implementation on Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) principles and will be transferred back to warana sugar co-operative after 7 to 8 years till then the sugar industries will get benifit nearly of Rs. 200/ T, through the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) sponsored by Urjankur Nidhi (the Fund), a scheme under Urjankur Trust of Government of Maharashtra.
